Recruitment System Help?
I'm playing Tomb Kings and I'm new to the game, why does it only allow me to recruit 2 units at a time, it takes so long for me to build a army locally.

do you mean this to relate to the higher quality troops and their specific limits?

You can only recruit a few troops locally (I think it starts at two and goes up to 5 as your techs, buildings and skills go up).... but the TK have a number of tweaks. For starters, their global recruitment is free. So if you'll be there for two or three turns building an army anyway, use the global recruitment....

...as for the decent troops (Archers, Nehekrahran warriors, and more), they have a recruitment cap based on the number of buildings. The standard barracks lvl 2 (I think) allows 2 archers. This cap is determined by the total across your empire, so it can be worth building more barracks etc in every settlement....

recruit on the move when you can (move then recruit, when you take a city recruit etc) if not have an extra army do the recruitment. as stated you quickly get a lot of global recruitment.
Oh and important; chariots. first 50+ turn every settlement should have chariots building. destroy the lame infantry building that is only semi good for its overpriced tier 3 infantry. chariots are murder machines on wheels, the building is very cheap and they can be recruited in a single turn

Are you recruiting through global or local? Because global recruitment will always take more time and cost more if you were not playing tomb kings.

Maybe because you use some mods? Normal amount is 3 for local, 3 for global queue. There is research (6th dynasty proclamation) that increases local by 1 and right most research increases global by 3. Citadel building increase local by 1, but is kinda useless. Settra has landmark in his starting city that increases local for that province by 1 more. So you can end up with 6 local, 6 global eventually in that province. There is a skill in blue line that costs 6 skill points to unlock (total amount required to get to it and to unlock it) that increases local by 1 more.

All units for tomb kings are free so they have a cap mechanics instead. All units except skeleton spearmen and skeleton warriors are capped and you need to build more buildings to be able to hire more of them in your armies.

Building that lets you recruit skeleton archer at level 1 allows you to recruit four of them. On level 2 two Nehekhara warriors are added. On level 3 two tomb guards, one tomb guards (halberds) and two more archers are added.

Time to recruit from global queue is double the time to recruit from local but it can be reduced with the final research and by building 10 or more buildings that let you recruit that unit (each 10 buildings reduce time required to recruit from global queue by 1 turn). Skeleton warriors and spearmen were moved to the main settlement chain this means that you can recruit them from global queue in just 1 turn after you capture 10 settlements.
