You may now uninstall Warhammer 1 (if you need to space) and install Warhammer 2 and all its DLC. Follow the rest of the procedure above as before for Warhammer 2. That should cover all the bases.
The reason for installing Warhammer 1 and all its DLC is to make sure that Steam understands that you have all of it, and therefore make it able to link all of that content to the second game.
