Where to place manually downloaded MODs?
I know where it should go but don't see a "Modules" or "Mods" folder after going to:

Local Disc (C:) > Current Steam games > steamapps > common > Total War WARHAMMER II

All I have in the WH II folder are:

-cef
-data
-EmptySteamDepot
-launcher
...and tons of files not in folders..
-Launcher Icon Warhammer2

So just drop each manually downloaded mod Folder into the Data folder?

There are a ton of individual .pack files in the Total War WARHAMMER 2 > Data folder so that's why I'm asking. It's been some time since I've modded with Total War and recall something odd with .pack files and Mods.

Also does Vortex/Nexus mods not host mods for Warhammer 3? I see Warhammer 3 but nothing for Warhammer 2. Where are are the non Workshop mods for WH2 being hosted?

You just put the .pack files directly in data. Leave the folders out.

My first mod was to the Medieval Demo! hahahahaha

No, not the folders, the pack files go into the data folder along with the picture file .png

Trying to be politic... You can do whatever it is your heart desires, ok? However, understand there are a series of updates happening to TW games from the earliest to the newest to allow them all to continue under the security implementations forced by Intel Gen 12+ architecture. Chat is being dropped (extracted) and the security permissions added to the exe files, but that security (once fully implemented) will not be able to see any mod not made with Assembly Kit.

NOTE: That is why pfm (Pack File Manager) did not update for WH3 as the writers knew already.

For now, mods made in any other way are intermittently failing depending on the details of your drivers and programs installed and how far everything has converted yet to the new security requirements inside each of our machines which is why everything is so different with one thing working for one and another for another person. It is all just temporary and anyone using mods not from workshop made with assembly kit is what I call a last breath diehard as they will fight all the way to the point reformatting the hard drive to reinstall windows is the only remaining option if they can break the ransomware lock on their hard drive it will most like lead to.
