Can I transfer or copy from D: drive to C: drive?
I have about 80 gigs of free space on my C: drive which is an SSD. I guess the way TWWH 2 works is you need more space to install the game than it actually takes up. So I had to install on my D: drive which is just a regular hard drive.

Can I copy my files over to the C: drive (I know will take for ever) and then be able to play off the C: SSD drive while still keeping the game on D: drive so it will be used to install patches?

I am not sure how things actually work. So I thought I would ask here and see if it's possible and if so, how to do it.

RMB click on the game in the library and select properties. Find the 'Move Install Folder' feature, under the local files tab. Steam will create a new Steam library for games on the drive you select, or use an existing one.

P.S you need to copy the entire game. TBH there seems to be a lot of problems with the game update process at the moment, which appear to be caused by having low available free space on the game's install drive. It's worth installing on an SSD though as the load times before battles / and during the campaign should be a lot shorter.

That's... not how disks work. You wouldn't have the SSD loading times.

The transfer failed the first time, so I tried again and it works now. Funny enough both times to do the transfer took less time trying to download and install todays 150ish mb patch. :P
Get a application called Steam Mover online, used it myself for a few games moving, you can swap games easily enough to either drive, it leaves a placeholder and copies the main files over to whatever destination you choose, works for Origin games as well.

And you need the whole game on your SSD for it to work optimally, not just for patches, it is not how they work hehe.

Thank you for that. I will google that now. So if I don't feel like waiting the long load/turn times, I can switch it for other games.

Just to make sure, this is a faster way than letting Steam do it?

Oh I LOVE you now. Now I don't have to worry about not installing a game because I don't have enough room. I can play when in the mood, and then transfer instead and transfer another game when I want to play that.
