does anyone know how to save edit this?
I installed this mod and started a whole new vortex campaign - same issue, follow-up quest doesn't trigger. :(
As discussed, it's a well known bug. I believe it occurs because Clar Karond needs to be held by the Dark Elven minor faction for the quest to progress and given the other factions in the area, this is statistically unlikely to happen (typically it'll be in ruins). You have to effectively defend Clar Karond as though it was your own city, even though it isn't, until the quest triggers and then take it. That's how I did it at least. It's a pain in the arse to do but that worked for me.
If it makes you feel any better about progressing your campaign regardless, the dragon's not actually that good anyway (although it is really annoying to not have it when you know you should).
