Vampire coast domination
I think I realized why the vampire coast usually dominate Lustria. It's because Luthor Harkon starts with lore of the deeps O_O. Suffice it to say, that was an unpleasant surprise when going up against him as Lokhir.

Nah more like LL advantage, corruption and Coast being overtuned.

He gets some lore deep spells depending on is personality and gets all of them once he has his special building.

My best mate I used to do co op campaigns with has quit the game entirely because of the Vampire Coast. He says they have no real place in Warhammer and their overpowered domination bs has ruined the campaigns to the point it doesn't feel like you're playing Warhammer anymore.

Although I have no intention of quitting the franchise I have to agree with his complaints.

"They have no real place in warhammer" :'D

Lmao. That's the lamest excuse I've ever heard.
They are so dominant, in my games they are getting crushed in more than half of my campaigns.

And that's weird, people weren't complaining that much when it was all Dwarfs in warhammer 1 and when the HE was the overpresent superpower. Are people so bad at dealing with ranged units or corruption ?

They're usually bottom in my campaigns. Can't relate. It's usually Lothern or Greenskins at the top. But Lothern doesn't seem to expand outside of their island and greenskins slow down after they have badlands. But Vampire Coast factions are usually dead last in my games usually beat out by minor factions. They only just barley hold on because of their huge garrisons that ai can't seem to figure out how to deal with,

The AI gets access to all of his spells much earlier. At turn ~25 he used vangheists revenge, that kraken vortex spell and he also summoned crabs.

I've not had huge issues with vampire coast but they definatly make their presence felt

The problem with vampire coast is that they completely ♥♥♥♥♥ the balance between "good" and "evil" factions. In vortex lothern gets fkd by both sartosa and dreadfleet as well as de every campaign I've played. In mortal empires they ♥♥♥♥ brettonia and clan angrund giving the orcs and vampires an edge in the old world. Hope balance is fixed with the addition of dow.

Ser pounce.. the problem is not dealing with vampire coast the problem is their ai ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the factions you wanna fight instead of pirating like they should have. Breaking immersion for me when half of brettonia belongs to dreadfleet who doesn't even use their badass ship...

Well, in my games, Sartosa hang around the lands of Belegar, not doing much and Noctilus goes after Bretonnia almost every game before getting his ass kicked by the wood elves and sent back to sea. Vampires do well until Dwarfs, who's been kicking the ass of the greenskins after 100 turns spent in one provinces, comes along and destroy them. So there really aren't an issue. I still don't see how it breaks the game ?

Because Dwarfs or HE owning half the world in turn 120 was definitly one and I don't remember people whinning about it. So I guess people are just too lazy to deal with corruption.

See this is the problem exactly, why does noctilus go for brettonia every single game.. they're supposed to be a roaming pirate faction not a land based empire in the old world. In my game noctilus and kemmler took out both bordeleux and Carcassonne sartosa took out belegar. I mean sure they won't be powerhouses like lothern or wh 1 dwarfs I just think the ai for the pirate factions are stupid. When I imagine pirates I imagine a seafaring race not a landlocked one going for the same provinces every single game .THAT is immersion breaking.

On accounts of the dwarf/high elf dominance, yeah that sucks too but that ain't what were discussing. Also dwarfs get fkd by greenskins in my games nowadays
