Vampire Coast Loyalty dropping despite share the loot commandment?

Needed to guard Galleons graveyard with more troops so got a lord to sit there he started dropping in loyalty pretty quick so I issued the 'share the spoils' commandment that says loyalty wont decrease for lords that are in there but he eventually defected anyway.

Anyone else had this? Should also add my friend controlled Tilea as Sartosa and his lord also dropped in loyalty despite having the same commandment.

Is their level higher than that of your Legendary Lord? Because they will lose Loyalty much much faster if that is the case, overriding even the "natural" Loyalty loss which the commandment is meant to slow/prevent.

Wait, your friend? Oh, multiplayer campaign. That means it is very likely something has gone wrong somewhere. MP games are notoriously buggy with this and all manner of other things.

He was a fresh lord so he was a lower level but I suppose it could be down to multiplayer bugging out as I havent tried it in singleplayer where I assume it works?
