Woot.
Ah, ok; so I guess he's at whatever he was at before confederation?
Still, if anyone wants to go for a longer playthrough, you start as Military Allies with him when playing as Malekith, so you can keep a good eye on him. If he does happen to drink an Elixir at any point, let us know. It'll be interesting information.
Havent played Malus extensively, only a bit. Will give a more elaborate try, though i thought his campaign would be a bit more thought out. At least a bit more rewarding in the end.
If you can manage an early confederation with him as Malekith, you're laughing all the way to the endgame.
How you wish to interpret this is entirely up to you.
Seriously this. I confederated them second, after my bloody friend Helebron, naturally, no gold, only declare war on their enemies. They were not able to expand from the Island, but you get Malus with stupidly upgraded Black Ark and 1 decent safe province. Since AI cheats you get superb Black Ark that can't leave the area, but hey you can recruit everything from it without upgrading settlements around and for supporting your work as you sack ♥♥♥♥ out of regions around.
Malus was clearly approached to be a multiplayer character where transformation can turn a skirmish battle but his campaign mechanics, the elixer system and all are garbage
CA really dropped the ball with him
