i cant seem to find any of the steam mods that i download. i have PFM but none of the mods show up in File > open CA pack. its like this now for all my total war games. from napoleon to WH2 no steam downloaded mods show up. this is the strangest thing bc it used to work and i cant figure out what the hell is wrong. has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks man. Is it still possible to modify steam mods with PFM with the mod folder changes? How would i find SteamApps>Workshop in PFM?

I'm having trouble finding PFM! I've been to the links provided and i've clicked on it, but it just takes me a page showing a big black bird (Sorry, that's the best way I can describe it), and after clicking on this page, I find myself on twitter looking at the Source Forge page. I need help.
I believe that's exactly where it is, on source forge. They changed the way it works now though and i can't figure out how to edit unit size, melee and such. I'm literally at a loss as to why they changed it. Napoleon is still the same but every game after that is different and literally can't find any of my mods to edit the size of units, or how to change the recruitment cost and such.

Check your downloads folder. You won't get a prompt, it should download when you click on the link.

I've never modded Napoleon, but the way for Rome2, Shogun2, ToB, TW, TW2... is pretty simple. Just make a new .pack file and edit the tables for what you want. Unit stats like melee/damage is in land_units_tables, unit speed is in battle_entities_tables, unit size and cost is in main_units_tables. Once you add the necessary tables to your .pack file save it in the data folder where you have the installation. Then enable outdated mods and your mod in mod manager on startup
