A Spider vs a Crab which would win and why?

Having this weird discussion with a friend, basically friend says the spider can web the crab and kill it, i say spider isnt that smart, friend then refers to giant goliath bird eating spider, i also say the spiders pincers cannot pierce the crabs shell.

So in game would the Giant vampire coast crab kill the arachnok spider?

out of game, depending on species how would a crab vs spider go down (i know it's depending on the type of each)

Their's no off-topic sub forum, so i'll ask about the arachnok vs warhammer crab too.

In-game: Arachnarok should win imo. Arachnarok's anti-large and anti-armor. Crab does have better harassment tools lying on top of it though.

Crab vs Spider....real world? Harder to say. There's a lot of spiders small enough you can only see them if you're really looking, while most crabs tend towards the same rough size range of a bit bigger then a hand. The Japanese Spider Crab, which, yes, is a crab, is truly enormous and would be somewhat difficult to catch in a web if it didn't want to get caught by smaller spiders. Furthermore, venomous barbs would have a bit of trouble going through a crabs' exoskeleton. Overall, I'd give the Crab the win...most of the time, although not universally. That said, if we're arguing a longevity competition, Spiders have the advantage of not being perceived as delicious by humans, and as such are likely to live longer then most crabs.

A good Question, and something that needs to be tested when the DLC comes out Both have some nasty damage, the spider has poisioned attacks but the crab might tank it.

In the end: Both die to imperial cannon balls and concentrated missile fire.

However, only the crab ends as supplying the army with provisions.

Maybe, also Spider causes fear and terror, and from what I saw on the reveal, as far as I know, Rotting Leviathan dosent, nor immunity to psychology

Imperial Great Cannons don't mind. Also Sisters of Avelorn will have their fun, they kind of laugh at beasts and missile resistance anyway - crabhunting season! Time to revive the good old mudcrab-hate from Skyrim

yeah, although the crabs limbs look twice as thick as the arachnoks if not 3 times as thick, crabs pincer also looks like a vice

I think, I'll try to take some very offensive screenshots from High-Elf failures with the new content. :^)
