Vampire Coast - who and why am I going to play

Hi guys, I played almost every warhammer factions (besides the Wood Elves) and everytime when I played them for the first time,I played the main character (Kzazrak, Karl Franz, Grimgor...) But with the Vampire Coast, I think im going to play Noctilus. Why not Harkon? Because he starts in Lustria and I hate the Lizardmen (playing as them and playing vs them). Why Noctilus? He starts in the middle of the map, so I can go and plunder everywhere I want. That will maybe bite me in the ass, because everyone is so far away, but im sure he will get a sea buff, just like the danes in Attila. Originally, I wanted to play as Aranessa, but she starts on Sartosa, and I dont like that start position, but if she had her own special troops, just like Arkhan, maybe I will change my mind + she has a cool mount. And at last, the fat diva? Well, she has a nice flag, thats it.

I am going to wait for the details of each ship myself, before picking. Remember the ships will offer benefits and play a role in things. :)

Oh yeah, youre right. But my 2 favorites are still Noctilus and Aranessa

I'm going to play as either Noctilus or Ursula solely because of their start positions. I'll probably play Aranessa on the ME campaign because she starts off the coast of Tilea.

from the looks of it so far my first choice is going to be cylostra, love me some caster LL. probably count noctilus as 2nd choice, aranessa as the 3rd choice, harkon as the last one. hopefully noctilus has some shadowy magic going on (cylostra is a shoe in for the lore of the deep caster)

I don't know yet, to be honest. I kind of feel like Noctilus will be insta-locked by my friend. So, it's either Harkon, if the mental state issues are interesting enough or...actually any of the 3, if they seem interesting with more display of mechanics and units, etc.

I'll be definitely start with Noctilus. Starting from an island is really fresh. And I do like his aesthetics and his ship as well.

After some first doubts cylostra is really warming up for me. So a good choice as well.

Noctilus for more vampire action.

Aranessa is a maybe if she only has a single human unit, if it's a more varied roster than she'd get bumped up to the second spot.

I have no interest in the VA made character.

I will be going for Harkon first just because i have a tradition with playing the "faction leaders" first. Then I may be trying Cylostra Direfin (AKA Ursula) and or Noctlis second depending from there gameplay.

I have no intrest in Aracanne Saltspite to be honest. But, I will wait and see the gameplay.

for aranessa im hoping with her that she ends up slightly skarsnik-y in regards to her human units, where she has the option to boost them up to a point where they can last most of a campaign.

Yeah, when I played Skarsnik, im sure I played WITHOUT a mod, and my goblin spearmen were 1v1 fighting Black orcs....

Noctilus looks super awesome and I liked him in dreadfleet so probably him. But I also want to see the flc lord they put out. If its Malus definitely him. I'll probably never touch fat girl lol

Aranessa looks like she has an interesting starting point for Mortal Empires. I would sack and raid the hell out of Skavenblight before going east to the Badlands and start fights with the Greenskins before going up north to Norsca. Just imagine, zombie pirates vs daemon vikings.
