As for an argument to have multiple spellcasters, if you want either an orc or goblin shaman, as you want a river troll hag in every army for the replenishment buff.
I usually use 1-3 depending on lord. I like having heroes in armies.
and from a campaign perspective there the ones that provide casualty replenishment right?
Replenishment is very useful.
Purple Sun is a good vortex spell for dmg.
For being a good all-round unit and army buff: Troll Hag.
I have a hard time finding room for Goblin Shamans in my Armies, their spells don't appeal to me much by comparison.
W/ Goblin Shaman you can have a lord. Goblin shaman and hag isn't bad but the vortex could miscast then hit your own unit.
W/ Hag it can be a monster unit which is quite powerful, as mention by other user army buffs and can buff leadership.
If you got Grimgor and using Da Immortulz banner in one of your Black Orc unit. That unit will basically be an immortal unit w/ a hag buffing their leadership.
Having multiple caster isn't bad it increase your Winds of Magic and Reserves.
Yes but they need more micro, Big Waagh damage spells are much easier to use !
Ah, good point!
Yeah, I didn't even realize the hag gives replenishment! I may now consider 2 casters then - though I hate doing that. How many heroes overall do you tend to bring per army?
I guess this is the consensus, and I may try it.
Yeah, I don't like to use Goblins all that much, so Orc Shaman sounds more attractive - or the combination of the Troll Hag and the Orc Shaman.
And I hate too much micro! ;)
