Blue tree line. Grab his unique skills after and grab deathclaw the moment you can. Whatever you want after that.

getting to the end of the blue line is a good idea most of the time, or atleast to lightning strike. I can’t remember exactly what his blue line has.

The end of the blue line is just +2 rank +1 local recruitment, I don't hink it's worth it unless it's for a lord dedicated for recruiting.

I usually go the same for most lords, including Franz:
Blue line until lightning strike > Lord specific traits, magic and final mount > Red line > Yellow line

Lightning Strike, Boost Replenishment. Once done, get the red line to boost the army. Personal buff should be last.

For magic heroes, get the spells you need first then do the above.
