Lore explanation for german vampire names?
Hello, I often encounter vampires/vampire pirats with funny german names. For example Steinsägemühle what translates as Stone saw mill. Is there an explanation in the lore how these names come to be and are they the same in other game languages (I play in german) too?

Empire is based on the holy roman empire and uses many German names.
Most vampires lvie in Sylvania, a former province of the Empire.
Therefore they have German names similar to the Empire.

Idk about the vampire pirates

At least Count Noctilus is a von Carstein, his old name is Nyklaus von Carstein of Sylvania. He decided that he likes the sea better than the murky East and so he changed his name and went pirate. His fellow Vampirates have different origins though...
