Throt the Unclean seems like a waste of space.
I can't wrap my head around how playing as him is even remotely enjoyable.

garbage lord tbh, shouldnt have added him imo, same with eltharion whos a disgrace and huntsman dude that no one played.

we'll he's taking a lot of space, especially at belly's height, but let's not go down the fat rat shaming route shall we~

All the three lords that have been mentionned in this thread( Thrott, Eltharion and Markus) are all very fine addition to the cast of playable LL. They all have a very specific individual playstyle (especially markus and Thrott) which is exactly what you want as additional LL.

If anything, all 3 are examples of what CA should do more of.
in reverse, being more unique inside their own faction also means that it has more chances of displeasing some players; but that's why we have variety so that everyone can find what they like.

Huntsman general himself is quite good, especially with his archery units, but Huntsmen is just meh like any ranged lords, because in this game the power of range weapons is in numbers, not much room for a single entity shooting dude.

I dunno The Sisters of Twilight are beasts as a ranged LL. High mobility Eagle Claw Bolt Thrower.

Just because you don't enjoy it doesn't make them useless/waste of space.

What this guy said.

Sorry, this game doesn't need carbon copies, but variety. For everything else -> Mods.

That's why I wish they'd focus more on the calvary side of things for Orion.

The only gripe I have is the alterante win condition for Elatharion and Grom (kick grom / kick eltharion). This could have been a great szenario WH1 style, but for Vortex and ME this is out of place for me. I really like his mechanis, but the only thing you prepare for is groms waaagh. Boooring.

It's sad to say but Grom's WAAAGH!!! is scarier than the Chaos invasions. XD

Thank you for providing absolutely nothing to the conversation. The door out is right this way, and don't worry, I'll be sure it hits you on the way out.

Whaaa? How is this take even possible???

Throt is amazing, he's the 1st Skaven lord I ever won a ME campaign as. Obviously he's meant to play towards monsters, and he's damn good at it. But here's the thing: One of his upgrades, 'Cellular Instability', basically turns the unit into a walking bomb that doesnt kill itself. Gaining this trait on all my Hellpit Abominations made his campaign not only managable with the chaos being so close, but also extremely fun. You just send the beast out into the glob of enemy infantry, let them surround him, and BOOM! The tactic is extra deadly if you can trigger an ambush, which the Skaven specialize in. Throt has an awesome unique capital, a nice corner to himself (once the chaos are offed), great incentives to use fun units, and probably the best voice actor in the game...

I think Ikit Claw is still probably number one for Skaven lords in pure deadliness, but personally Throt is my favorite rat king. Probably in my top 3 for lords in the game honestly

Snikch is my homeboy. His name is literally the sound of a dagger slipping into flesh. How metal is that for a ninja rat?

Clan Moulder, also known as the guys that strap C4 on naked mole-rats and lets them run havoc in the nearest empire.

(Use Cellular Instability on Broodhorrors and make a full army with them, then go blow up armies upon armies just because you can)
