Yeah that's true tho!
I am sure this behaviour is necessary for any group or society. It just elapses my memory why.

I've played those games hundreds of hours, don't assume I know ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about animations and try not to undermine people opinions. You could learn something.
Way too much work to make matching combat animations for a few hundred different models.
I just feel that the ambition with details has gone down with every game, now not even the gun-units have animations. Like you said its not economical, and I would not be suprised if they will still use the same engine for the next major release after WH3 (because it wont make economical sense to make a new one)
