Ghorgon is advertised as a 1v1 monster killer but gets interupted in about half of it's attacks.
-_-
The Ghorgon still is a monster killing monster though. Take into consideration that the monsters its facing in the video is also monster killing monsters and its not like its losses against all of them either.
Yeah, I actually would be disappointed if the Ghorgon was wiping the floor with all these anti-large monsters. The DLC power creep is sometimes an issue for the series. I like that they are more holding their own. It would be interesting to see how the Ghorgon fares against anti infantry single unit monsters or even monstrous infantry and cavalry I bet Ghorgons will clean house against them
In just about a week, we can all experiment.
That's probably their point. Protect your infantry from the anti-infantry monsters/large-mount-lords
At least from the limited testing seen in the video.
But one should keep in mind that its still "in development".
Yes, I would only be concerned if they were getting their butts kicked by like Reiksguards and Giants. Occasionally CA has dropped the ball and made a unit that was terrible as it's presumed job, but I don't think that is the case here
The stats of the ghorgon are rly good, it would beat the spider and go toe to toe with the kharibdys if it's attacks didn't get interrupted so many times. The fact that it beat the shaggoth while falling down so many times just shows how brutal this monster can be.
Fair point, but I'm sure there's better ways to curb its power than turning it into something out of a Tom and Jerry cartoon.
Why does he have his top set of arms up in the air all the time?
It looks like they've taken a model's pose of Ghorgon with its top arms up in the air, and just copied that.
Which looks like a torture technique. Its arms must be aching.
You're forgetting 1 other reason why the Spider and Kharibdys beat the Gorgon, the biggest reason why those 2 are the best 2 anti large single entity monsters.
They apply poison. The spider even applies poison without connecting due to the archers on it's back.
Maybe they need just a little more knockback/stagger resistance, but that's easy to fix.
Say that to Gorebulls :P
I for one am glad the giantic Minotaur keeps the proud tradition of minotaurs being on it's face more often then standing.
Yes, this is a joke. They really need to fix it, not even the giant is on it's butt this often.
Funnily, the model's blade-arms were on top while the lower set of arms was that with actual hands
