Really though, this just seems like absurdism for absurdisms sake. Yeah if they did literally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nothing surviving in the cold would be difficult, but obviously they would. People live in places that innately are lethal to them all the time, just gotta take countermeasures, or adapt.
It would be cool if covering themselves in daemon blood gave them some cold resistance.
Could be an interesting (if unbalanced) mechanic if their troops were slightly debuffed when fighting in cold regions. Or it could be a sidegrade like "defense down, attack up when fighting in snow"
