the fact that I care makes your statement false...
and if you didn't care... why are you here?
To let you know that no one else cares.
You're welcome.
Troy or warhammer 2?
Both afaik, do you know how to Google?
I'm pretty sure that has some pretty hefty consumer trust issues right there...
ahwell guess I'll throw troy out of my cart
Google is as much a source of information as disinformation... first 2 pages were basicly people asking if it had denuvo... most of these at the least 1 year old... and none about the steam version... so... yeah... I did NOT come here as a first choice.
it's not listed on the storepage... so it's more a question of "huh? what's this then?" than outright hate...
If you want to have denuvo in your game that's fine... I won't buy it... if you don't have it on the storepage and have it in the game... then you're being extremely underhanded...
personally I really dislike drm that puts any burden on my computer. (and don't give me "it's negliable" if my pc uses resources on anything other than what I want, I at the least want to be able to exclude those programs from my purchases)
(as for analytics... I really dislike companies using my resources for their profit without direct recompence and hidden from me... if you want to f. me at least be upfront about it)
Total Commander has one built in, but tools like Notepad++, any random portable hex-editor or similar would have done the job, without going thru pseudo postings on google, where you obviously have wasted more time instead of doing so.
If it satisfies your curiosity and you are too lazy for such simple solutions:
/.a.n.t.i.t.a.m.p.e.r.d.i.a.g.n.o.s.i.s.......@.denuvo_atd
allrighty then... it's in the game and not on the storepage... awesome... guess that's the last time I'll buy anything from CA... have fun
I'm guessing since CA was, until recently still releasing DLC for this, that would be their excuse? If so, then I would guess it will still be around for WH3, and all the DLC for it as well.
Not a fan of DRM like Denuvo, and I'm also not a fan of all the hackers/pirates stealing games. So, I'll continue cursing both groups in equal measure.
Edit: I did send in a support ticket to Sega/CA about it.
Same... Gonna be interesting to see what comes of it...
