Temporarily - wounding them in battle
Well they confederated with Karaz-Karak, but I've been bleeding them with Vampire Pirates from the coastline (formerly Border Princes) and with Skaven alliance from the north of the mountains, while I'm climbing on to them from the south with Grimgor and his boys. It's strange that you can't even use, let's say Shamans to deal with them...
But even then, you'd just wound them temporarily.
As they're immune to your heroes' attempts to wound them,as best ya can...ignore them.
Also you can hope they get the occasional critical failure, that does "wound" them for the usual amount of turns.
They only "die" a perma death, if embedded in army and the army is destroyed or their current faction is destroyed.
100% immune is indeed very high...
Unless they're been tweaked recently, they can not be wounded nor assassinated by an opposing hero's action- the whole spirit/ghost thing.
If you're playing evil faction and Belegar is anywhere near you and will one day become a thorn in your backside... wipe him out as soon as you can.
So dealing with them permanently is only possible by destroying the faction, just like every single hero above level20.
