How to destroy the Dreadfleet?
I'm playing as High Elves on Ulthuan and I'm sick of Dreadfleets raids. Difficulty is hard. I'm going to attack the galleons graveyard. Is there anything I need to know to suceed? Because Im not sure that I will win there

Get two armies and have at least a few Ballista in each one.

Then fill it with good melee units and then a lot of archer units.
That graveyard doesn't have walls so it shouldn't be too hard to deal with it. Artillery deal with their strongest ranged units first and your archers will deal with all normal units. Melee is there to keep the line.

But once you get to the island, put yourself in encampment until both armies are full. Then attack it when you can.

Also it might be worth it to just raze it because I believe only vampire coast faction can make use of it. Or it's just that Harkon lord.

Easy HE doomstack, or basically just...enough HE ranged...is sufficient to wipe the floor with those floaty corpses. Have a good damage/healer mage, maybe another 1-2 heroes.

Then pretty much just have at it, potentially try to flank their artillery with some mobile stuff and then take the settlement, because it gives neat bonuses.

You probably need two armies because of attrition, and a beefy garrison. Buuut, you can also bring one decent army, and then bring that ability that gives you immunity to attrition. You can pretty easy get it as the high elf if you go treasure hunting in the ocean.

No it is easy enough to hold and secure as the HE. You only get the main building, but it gives a nice public order so as soon as the corruption is a bit down, you can leave the area again. The settlement dont bring much money but it makes all armies immune to reef attrition.

something you should know...
Beware of attrition. You may lose half your troops before fighting otherwise.
So as HE unless you play as Alith Anar or Eltharion that don't have it, you want to go there when you've got the rite that make all your armies immune to attrition(invocation of Isha IIRC?) that isn't on cooldown.

Also, if you kill their main army before going there, they will recruit a new one super fast so you'll have to fight the big garrison + that army sitting there. It's better to delay killing the army that went away until you've gotten rid of the galleon graveyard.

Generally you stick them with pointy things, or fire.

As high elves you can get a follower when you go tresure hunting in the ocean and fight battles against VC, that gives your army complete immunity to attrition with a -10 to movement. It is not rare. In my last HE campaign I had 3 armies with them on, and you can switch them out if another army needs it more. It makes it a lot more easy.

Good ol star dragon doomstack with life mage will make a mockery of the garrison at dreadfleet HQ. Sisters of Avalorn spam will likewise steamroll it if you get in quick enough to avoid too much attrition.

Or just pick up a Priest of Vaul or Priestess of Isha to laugh at attrition in general.
