Clan angrund tips for a succesfull campaign?
Okay, maybe this topic have been answered in other posts like infinite, but i cant find a ♥♥♥♥♥ about it, and since the release of the dlc i have dreamt of a fully successfull belegar campaign.

-Turtling strategy with my starting province was the most successful for me, but it takes sooo much turns that i think im doing wrong somewhere with the building order/tech/something. Any ideas about how to reach T4 ASAP?

-What about conquering skarsnik province and rush T4 there? it has 2 fur resources, which is nice having 50% more growth from a settlement (since they doesnt have the landmark building from the starting region which give +30 growth, the result is like having only 1 more growth building in that province, or +30 more growth).

-Rush b strategy with those mofos from 8P rebels is a pain in the ass, so i dont know if theres a way to make it work. Any ideas to make this rush viable?

Any help would be vastly welcome!

In WH1 it was actually the better play. Since uninhabitable regions simply couldn’t be colonized at all in that one, keeping Belegar’s starting province was a huge detriment to your entire campaign in that game. You basically couldn’t connect territory to get any trade whatsoever. You needed to lose your starting regions so your capital would move.

However, since that isn’t an issue in the second game, things are a tad different. Depending on the difficulty setting, rushing there with just a bunch of ranged units works as long as you get there intact. Otherwise you can take your time to build up a defensible starting province and push 8P when ready. Just about any type of artillery and a bunch of quarrelers or rangers (preferably with max ammo buffs) can take most any settlement if you cheese the siege AI.

Get starting region, build the walls and growth building in everything, this should keep out any amies while you build up and/or move to K8P.

Some say you can rush it asap but for me thats not viable due to higher starting lvl capitals making k8p a t4 settlement start which requires a good army to take from mutinous gits.

You should not have too much trouble from Skarsnik and taking can increase your economy to support higher tier troops.

Yea this, the longer you wait to take 8-peaks the higher the 8-peaks grudge gets. The stronger the grudge gets the worse your public order gets. It's only a matter of time before the rebellions happen unless you take 8-peaks.

should i rush a 20/20 army of quarrelers after hitting t3 walls? i mean, in which turn did you conquered 8P like, the fastest run you did? the earliest for me was turn 47, but idk if i can reduce it.

turn 47 seems fine to me depending on the state of your empire at the time. if its just your starting province and 8P its slow, but if you conquer most of the provinces on the way it seems fine

my best tip would be to capture 8 peaks .

Dont forget the irondrakes in siege battles. 3 drakes and you can smell the skaven burnt scent the morning after the battle. Idk why but conquering 8P with drakes was so easy comparing to reach the place or reconquering the entire province after.
Well, i think im going to try it again rushing a little this time with all.
Ty everyone!
Curious tip: conquer sartosa at south with the starting units. Easy af to defeat them, and is surrounded by allies so you can just make public order+ moneymaker to help you.
