Disable event messages.
This game loves to pad time spent doing useless ♥♥♥♥. Why the hell do I have to click through 100 event messages at the start of every turn?

Also de-selecting your lord after every action is stupid. Did you not think I still wanted to do stuff with my lord after a field battle? Maybe let me decide when I want to de-select units thank you. So many stupid features that do nothing but annoy you. But hey here's more dlc because fanboys think the game is perfect and will lose their ♥♥♥♥ if anyone critiques the obvious to anyone who has a brain flaws in this game.

You don't?
To prevent accidental movement?

Did you consider just scrolling through your event feed to have everything read?

Literally just hovering over it suffices for 90% of them.

It's also not helping your case, to just call everyone opposing your statements rabid fanboys, but you do you. If that's what keeps you afloat, do it.

Gotta love a guy who starts insulting anyone answering BEFORE they´ve done so.
That´s efficiency.
Saves us the effort of coming up with a helpful answer, thanks for being so considerate mate.

Disregarding the fanboy insult, he does bring up a good point. We have filters for a lot of other things, so why isn't there a filter for the event spam?

Things like "your lord/hero can now use xyz mount!". You mean the skill I literally not five seconds ago chose? Why am I getting an event message for this? There's a lot of fluff messages in the events that some people don't need due to how they play.

I know it's easy to get rid of the messages, but a filter to not see some/all in the first place would be very appreciated.

So instead of wasting your time clicking you have to hover, and even then it doesn't even take the issue away. Nice. It's an improvement I guess. The reason I said all about fanboys is because it's true and you are one of them, you'll put up with any problem because in their eyes the game is perfect and so you won't get changes. For crying out loud this game has been out forever and I could write an essay on all the lazy coding and stupid things put in this game for god knows what. You want to be fine with annoying things in game? You do you if that's what keeps you afloat.

Exactly, Got lightning strike skilled bro. And no not insulting everyone, just people who'll go "Muh the game is fine, nothing wrong. Game perfect. how dare you say game not perfect REEEEE"

Hahaha sorry my dude, if the shoe fits though ;)
But you are not one of them I assure you. I'm specifically targeting those fans who refuse to see the problems in game. It's a fantastic game. I love it. Objectively there is also a lot to be unhappy about. I get that because the game is pretty great people are okay with overlooking pet peeves like mine. I'm a grumpy old ♥♥♥♥ though.

You don't get "100 messages", and the deselect can prevent accidental movements.

Hahahahaha. Okay. Well, no you're right, it's not 100 messages. It's literally thousands and perhaps more depending on how much you play. I wonder how many minutes of your life is take with this. If you're okay with that for the sake of "prevent accidental movements" as if would happen. Do you just randomly click on the screen after a battle? Terrible argument. but oh wait we DO have accidental movement, because the pathing is also stupid and especially stupid when you try to cross a water body, or forget that this game doesn't have double click to confirm movement like any other game ever made similar to this. Bro could write pages of the time wasting bs in this game. Don't even try. This game has some seriously stupid ♥♥♥♥ in it.
Elitewrecker PT Jan 4, 2021 @ 10:10am
Dude, why you keep exaggerating. You might have a dozen messages occasionally, but if it's so common I'm sure you can show screenshots of a turn with 100 event messages.
I've literally never played a 4x where you would double-click for a movement order. And I've played many from early to current titles over the past 20 years
I'll give you the auto-pathing not taking into account moving into water for calculation though.

One thing I do find quite obnoxious lategame is the "ancillary gained" notification. You get a lot of them and other, important, events, won't show up until you've clicked through what feels like every single character you have getting a +2 public order ancillary which they already have equipped or don't have space for.

Beyond that you can just ignore most of 'em
