How to recycle skaven units
This is a really dumb question and I'm sure the answer is fairly obvious but for whatever reason I can't seem to find it. I'm playing Thrott for the first time and I want to recycle units, but I don't see any button or option on how to do that. The help files aren't saying much and I couldn't find any prior discussions about it.
Is there a button somewhere? I try selecting the unit to bring to the lab but I'm not seeing the option to recycle them in the lab screen. Simply disbanding them doesn't seem to add anything to the growth vat. What am I missing here?

The units need to be augmented to the point they become unstable. The more unstable the more you get from recycling.

So do you just disband the unit to recycle them? I tried disbanding a unit that was augmented (though not unstable) and didn't get anything.

just disbanding doesnt work. and it has to be unstable, not just augmented

Okay so if you have an unstable unit and you want to recycle them, how do you do it? Is there a button somewhere? I'm not seeing it. I select the unstable unit and click on the "Select units in the augment panel" and it brings up the lab with the unit selected. I see below the unit card, there's a little skull icon which when you move the mouse over it, reads "This unit is unstable. The unit can be recycled for growth juice..."

But I don't actually see a recycle button anywhere. Clicking on the skull does nothing. The only button I see that would be remotely relevant is a disband button that appears if I click on the unit card. I know I'm missing something obvious but I'm just not seeing it.

if you go in the lab, select the unit, and there should be a recycle button on the drop down menu

It can bug out in the current version.

When I go to the lab and select the unit, the only button that appears is a boot that says "Disband" not "recycle". Is that the same thing as long as it's in the lab? I did get a lab upgrade that makes the unstable skavenslaves I'm testing this on not produce growth juice so maybe that's the problem. I don't currently have any other unstable critters currently so I can't test it out on anything else. I'll play with it but that might be the issue.
Thanks for the help!

Again, disbanding is not the button you want. It's bugged for you then, if it's NOT only on slaves.

Skavenslave upgrade to automatically get mutations is disabling it, and the tooltip even states as much.

I know it has been 3 years, however, it is likely you have the lab upgrade that makes it so slaves don't provide JUICEEEEE. So, you can only disband slaves (slingers included).
