2. No clue i only play coop or versus campaigns sorry.
3. See the games as Races packs, if you liked races of game 1 it's worth picking it up on sale to play them on the combined map of game 2. Same for game 2 when game 3 is out, but game 3 is not even teased in trailer yet so its still 6 months+ away (at least) Game 2 is quite worth it if the game interest you NOW.
*Edit* I personally don't think it's worth picking it up if all you wanna do is PVP battles with no campaign tho but that's just my opinion.
2. multi community is more active in warhammer because the series has the best combat total war has to offer atm
3. Having all 3 gives you access to 13ish factions, the whole mortal empires combined map of all 3 regions and such. Personally I'd recommend getting each base game at the very least because of this. You can always delay getting game 3 though till it's pretty cheap on a sale.
But yea, get warhammer 2 and warhammer 1 imo, along with any dlc for races you might enjoy. All the races and their updates will be in the game for you to fight, so you still get the content. You just pay for the dlc if you also want to play as them
2. No idea, i don't play multiplayer.
3. Depends on what you mean. If you only own game 2 you get the vortex campaign, all the units from game 2 DLC and stuff is present in said campaign, you can just not utilize them yourself without the DLC. If you own game 1 and 2 you get access to the mortal empires campaign combining the maps from game 1 and 2 into a mega campaign, all the DLC and stuff (from both games) will be present as enemies but once again you can't utilize it yourself without owning the DLC. If you want to be able to utilize everything you need game 1 and all its DLC and game 2 and all its DLC.
I should also mention that they have stated that they are planning to make a mega campaign for game 3 as well that will likely require game 1 and 2.
The content in game 1 funnels into game 2. The content in both is expected to funnel into game 3. So having them all is worthwhile.
All content is in game, the DLCs unlock it for player use. So if you don't want to play AS the Wood Elves, for example, there won't be a big empty space on the map: the AI will be running them just fine.
3K MP is dead cause CA did not bother with it at all and most of the heroes are straight up broken OP so it died WH2 is very different it has the largest multiplayer community of any total war game "maybe rome 2 can compete? not too sure on that one" but either way its very active with many thousands of members in the community of all skill levels
with that in mind its worth playing if your willing to learn and as for how it actually works pretty straightforward
go in to quick battles from the main menu enter a lobby build your army "or load a preset" using the alocated funds "In this case 12400" and stay within the unit caps "even with CAs unit caps you can still do quite some cheesy stuff if you want" and go in to a battle may the best man win and after the battle rince-repeat
oh also in the case of QB specifically theres a leaderbord so have fun with that
Yep thought we did: https://steamcommunity.com/app/594570/discussions/0/2999925876005548973/#c2999925876005725458
