Fastest Level 5 Skavenblight
So I'm in the middle of an Ikit Claw campaign (Turn 75 Normal) and just read the guide on getting Hellpit to level 5 in 11 turns or less. Read it a day light to help my Ikit campaign. What's the fastest people have gotten Skavenblight to level 5, and how?

I’d assume all you need is enough food, then you abandon it and recolonize to level 5... given the new abandoning feature it should be somewhat easy.

Also works by letting a rebellion happen and taking it.

yea getting it to lvl 5 should be easy with the abandon feature. keep sacking tobaro until you get enough food and then occupy skavenblight at lvl 5

Yeah but with the new public order it can be pretty hard outside of very hard/legendary to actually get a rebellion.

can't do it with just that. You need to get several more settlement to rise your amount of max food to be able to have 120+ in one go.

Right. Around Hellpit you have 3 minor settlements you can occupy to get your food capacity up. Skavenblight has Tobaro, and? That's the trick. Do you get all of Estalia, including the province capital, which will get you 120 food capacity. Then maybe sack Miragliano a bunch of times to rebuild your food, then abandon Skavenblight, and rebuild at T5? That's better than nothing, but no turn 8 or turn 11.

Ehh T5 isn't really worth it, you can already get it to T4 on turn 4 which is plenty as you just wont have the income to build up a T5 settlement from scratch for a good while. I feel going for the turn for T4 skavenblight is optimal.

T5 directly is impossible until much later in the game. But it's possible to do t4 within the first few turns assuming we can abandon it. Can we abandon our capital?

Yes, it's possible.

And T4 is enough, you get mortars than and T5 doesn't add that much. Doomwheel, Hellpit Abomination and that's about it iirc.

I made it by turn 24. I just kept sacking Tobaro until I could level Skavenblight up to L4. I also had an undercity in Tobaro at the same time producing extra food. I had the hidden lair the weapon burrow and the taskmasters platform in Skavenblight, having demolished the rubbish pit and warrens when I upgraded to L4. I had dispatched an assassin to make contact with Skrolk and perform the Storm Demon mission. I had Balequint, the jezzails & the Flayers as well as 5 rattling guns. I run a straight to Volatile Plans upgrade strategy to max out my weapons teams as early as possible. As for those underestimating T5 large cities... don't. T5 towers are the skavens most powerful weapon after doom rockets. I have fended off multiple full stack armies with T5 towers and garrison. I think that may be the fastest possible time because you have to increase food storage capacity via research.

you need 120 food capacity, fastest way is probably to just rush a bunch of tier 1 cities (sack them, then occupy) then go back to skavenblight and get it to tier 5. Then i’d abandon all the crappy tier - settlements, which will cause a revolt at skavenblight to help refill food.

i just do the turn 5 tier 4 method though, quick and simple.

With Clan Eshin you can get to tier 4 on turn 2.
