Campaign Overlay

I'm a tad confused. Until this update, my campaign overlay (the options on the left hand side of the screen that show you ownership, diplomatic status, wealth, etc) on the strategic map behaved in a very specific way. It would appear whenever I tabbed out to "strategic view", and would disappear again once I zoomed in to the strategic map.

Now the overlay is gone, unless I press and hold space bar. And if I click the padlock in the overlay to permanently display it, it ALWAYS shows up, both when I'm tabbed out on the strategic map AND when I'm zoomed in. Does anyone have any ideas?

that change is intentional, it's neither a bug or a problem on your side. that lock was always behaving that way, what changed was the systematic showing when you're in strateghic view that is no longer happening and requires space bar to be hit instead.

I agree. I liked the functionality as it was. Barring that, the developer could have added the current functionality as an additional option to the previous one.

I'm having this issue as well and I want to say thank you for telling me to hold the space bar to access the overlays at all. Poorly communicated change.

A developer should never remove functionality, only ever improve it. This was an unnecessary change.

It was not removed though. It was just changed. I agree it was not necessary but nothing was removed here at all.

Also, only a Sith deals in absolutes. ^^
