Zoats, dude like really
Nerf these things. They are UNBEATABLE.

Empire player here. I found Zoats to be pretty easy to counter in the campaign, small unit size and easy prey for the following units:

- Halberdiers
- Huntsman (Huntsman Lord or Markus Wulfheart can boost them to a ridiculous degree of OP)
- Demigryphs (I always run the halberd variation anyway)
- Hell Blaster Volley guns ( That AP is amazing & Balthesar Gelt can boost them even further)

What is the best way to kill them? they are unstoppable

i mean they are a bit overtuned from what i have seen and the ROR in particular is a bit problematic with all the free heals

but the patch just came out to the general public way too early to judge

Tie them down with trash and kill the rest of their army.

Mostly empire, but i dont see any way to counter them with any faction.

Just completed a Throt Vortex campaign (VH/VH) and I just had to fight ONE zoat (in manual, I autoresolved the last 3 wood elf outposts, most my campaign was spent fighting the Druchii really) and that too on an ambush. Throt and 3 packmasters (all have anti-large) turned it into rat-food in no time.

With taller units like that I tend to tie them up with some antilarge infantry and shoot them with crossbows/guns/whatever ranged is on-hand (since the bigger something is the easier it is to shoot over your boys' heads), focusing big stuff down like that usually kills or routs them in a couple mass volleys.

Bruh, wdym you don't have archers if you play empire? You have crossbows, you have gunners, you have so many ranged options it's unreal.

The Empire has a bunch of good ranged units.
