Do centigors come from the same place as other beastmen?
Or are they like an already existing species? I know normal beastmen were transformed by chaos from men but growing an entire horse body seems a bit harder than some goat legs and horns.

Although I am not certain, I believe that the answer is yes and no.

Centigors are afaik not beastmens per se, but rather a similarly chaos-tainted race.
They are like beastmen a product of man warped by chaos, but in this case fused with horses or other four legged beasts :)

The term "Beastmen", is often used to describe a whole spectrum of different animal-like beings of varying appearance and distinction. To an extent, a Beastmen is also classified as a Mutant, and come in different breeds. They aren't really a species, it is brought on by warping chaos magic.

By beastmen I was meaning specifically gors and ungors, im fairly sure those are pretty much just warped peasants. Minotaurs, giants, and centaurs are slightly different I think but ive really no clue.

They are all chaos-warped men.

Not in Total War series, but lorewise 'Beastmen' can have physical appearances of things like Lions, or Tigers. Or even less Imposing creatures like Zebra and Eagles.

Beastmen can have any animal part, and it isn't restricted to heads and legs. The standard beastmen will have an animal style of head, and a human body.

so are you asking if centigors make more centigors the same way beastmen make more beastmen?

As in, you know how there are no beast-women

I've seen some artistic depictions that beg to differ

You can get a follower as the Beastmen called "Doe". Description confirms it's a Beastwoman.

there are female beastmen, they are called does. But they do also rape peasant women to make more. Chaos finds a way.

How did you think they procreated, by holding hands with each other?

I dont think you quite understand the adult nature of your inquiry OP.
But the answer would be no.

I think some early lore indicated that female beastmen were harpies, like what the dark elves have.

And, well, there is that one centigor special character whos referred to as the father of all of them. I'm willing to bet he wasn't particularly nice about it.

There are female Beastmen.

Dwarves also became Centaurs as well.

There are female Beastmen.

They're even in the game as a lord item, but they avoided really getting into details about them, same with Skaven Breeders.

Because it is never consensual.
Beastmen and Skaven are what Feminists say (and secretly wish, as far as I can tell) a Patriarchy really is like.

Warhammer is Parody.

Old school they were just Centaurs, and pretty much just a different race that Chaos had access to.

I'm assuming the Beastmen split turned them into Centigors, so sounds like they are intended to be a Chaos mutation of 'normal' Beastmen.

I don't think this is canon anymore.

Right now they are all mutants born to humans.
