Look at it this way, with proper confederation, you can have her and Orion in the same army. One of the complaints about Isabella is that using her and Vlad's special rule is overly complex. If Ariel and Orion are given a similar rule, then it's far easier to use.

agree, why queen just is hero, not lord? i want to see true ruler in diplomatic interface, it is so bad!

Well it does make sense as you can have both her and Orion in the same army and I believe it was mentioned that he would get more buffs having Ariel in his army.

I don't get it either. Vlad and Isabelle are separate lords as well and it's still no problem to have them in each other's army. And her emissarys being lords instead is just baffling.

lsabella is not high ruler for vampire, but ariel is ,she should be showed in diplomatic interface, not just a hero, it is Unreasonable.hope to she can be real lord into 3, but maybe it is impossible

You might like this mod. It makes Isabella into a hero if you start with Vlad.

Other changes it makes include adding Konrad von Carstein as a hero to the Von Carsteins, Helman Ghorst as a hero for Sylvania, Krell as a hero (instead of a summon) for the Barrow Legion, and a couple variants of Vampire Lord, Vampire Hero, and Necromancer.

Not a high ruler? She was pretty much Vlad's right hand and arguably one of the main reasons he was a reasonably just ruler in comparison to his successors. And what about Lord Kroak? He is technically the eldest of the Slann Mage-Priests (even if he is mostly dead). I feel Ariel is better as a hero because then she can be teamed up with any Wood Elf Lord instead of just being forced to be on her own.

there is another solution, let queen be new factions leader for warhammer 3. if we can chose her be a leader or just as a heron while we chose other faction. anyway, i hope true ruler can be stand into diplomatic interface. about Lord Kroak he is always sleeping and never or less leader their race recently 1000 years.

If Lord Kroak can function perfectly fine with this, then I see no reason why Ariel can't either. It's good to have variety in the game. I feel like the strongest selling point to this game is how much flavor there is. Playing one faction is a completely different experience than another (and in some cases different lords of the same faction.)

Wood elves did only have two leaders anyway, so it's strange why they just couldn't get two new ones, with Ariel being one of them. And not to mention that they didn't even have a single waifu leader yet, which is already a sin in itself for an elven faction. ^^

Didn't Ariel create civil wars in the Wood Elf worlds? Didn't she do atrocities to keep Orion around? I can kind of understand she's not leader cause I think there were times she demonstrated she didn't care about the lives of most of her fellow elves.

But maybe I'm wrong.

Being a hero, she can be his waifu, in his army. You're just jealous, admit it!

when we chose sister clan, queen can be lord. but she will be hero while we chose other clan, it will be better
