WHERE ARE MY CORPSE PILES?!?

since downloading the hunter and the beast corpses are now disappearing off the battlefield despite the Corpse life option in the settings being set to permanent. This is the worst Issue I have ever had occur in any Total war game. Being able to see the carnage after the battle is half the fun. Is anyone else having this issue?

My suspicion is that it's an oversight where the game has the option, but the option doesn't actually enable it in game.

I was able to fix the issue by setting the corpses to 30 seconds and quitting the game, Then putting it back on permanent when i started the game up again. I guess it was not registering that i clicked permanent.

Ahh yes, it's one of those "This graphics option will take effect until you restart the game" graphics settings, but doesn't mention that.
