New World Colonies
Did anybody else see the alteration to them being Imperial with their leader even though they are in lore Tilean and Estalian colonists? There was also the elimination of the Bretonnian Lustrian expedition from the game which was in the lore as well. I think it is safe to say unfortunately with a move like this there will be no Southern Realms faction like Tilea. There is still a hope for a 4th Bretonnian Lord in the Errantry States for now at least.

You have your info backwards. The New World Colonies was originally led by an generic Empire General Lord, but got swapped to have a new model.

In addition, while the game's always referenced southern realms as being separate from the Empire, the overhaul to the empire tech tree lists three factions as being of men; Empire, Kislev, and Southern Realms. Kislev has had a placeholder tag since forever ago, and Southern Realms has only ever gotten progressively more acknowledgements in-game as it's gone on. That we're getting our first mercenary based FLC soon, as well, feels like a proof of concept.

To clarify I said in lore regarding the New World Colonies so it still does not make sense for it to be Imperial. Regarding the rest I do not dispute, I merely think that a region that in lore had an actual Dogs of War Lord (Marco Colombo) going Imperial is a bad sign.

Yeah and its almost 100%, certain kieslav will be playable in 3 and with the introduction of a merc lord and hero we could in time see the southern realms become playble as a offical playble faction in some way

Only time will tell and I think it's possible as they have been surprising when it comes to dlc such as the addition of the vampire coast who were a more obscure faction

So who knows ^-^
