How do you fight Hexoatl?
I am playing as a VC as Luthor Harkon, and this faction is too strong. I can barely sustain 2 armies while this guy just endlessly spams his stegadon doomstacks and doesn't care at all.How do i possibly win against this faction?? He has like 6-7 lords if not more and almost all of his armies are doomstacks.(turn 80,if someone wants to know)

If you can barely sustain 2 armies in turn 80 something went very wrong, your trouble with the lizards is just a symptom.
Do you have pirate coves in the big coast cities (and in general)? Expending beyond starting territory is something I'd hold off on for a long time

I have a few of pirate coves but they don't generate the big amount of money. They give me like 900 in total.I only have 2 provinces.

I dunno, maybe i am just a total noob who has no idea how to play Vampire coast, but i just can't understand their units, their infantry sucks, their early range units also suck, and the ones that are better are still mediocre, since i can't even build a necrofex colossus i guess i lost already?

Yeah, that's your problem. Pirate coves are your factions easiest and best method to make money. The 50% of a cities income building is amazing, easy 1000-2000 income. You can establish coves via hero action too, make sure to use ability whenever it's not on cooldown.

Their ranged units (even just Handgunners) are amazing, but you need to able to use direct fire well. That's not easy, I recommend looking up guides.

Skulker has it right, you really ought to be able to support more armies by now, and coves are how you do that. I like to head over to Ulthuan early in a campaign and do a full rotation. Add a pirate cove to every coastal settlement you can conquer there (and use an agent to get the rest). If you need to replenish fast then loot+occupy a settlement (preferably non-coastal so you aren't hurting your future income) and then just abandon it.

That's just about the best guide you'll find to gun lines.

You should also be making good use of their artillery, especially the beautiful Queen Bess.

Some good advice here. Also dont be afraid of the pirate cove cooldown extra cost. Even if it costs 5k extra (if you have the money and are able to) pump out that extra cove. If the place makes you 500gold youre at profit after 10 turns.

Marienburg can make 4k a turn, so easy 2k there as well. Going east to the brets/arkan is also a good place to put the coves for additional heros. Sartosa / Tilea also make decent money and can be coved til you want to take them over yourself.

3x mortars + the queen bess are a glorious thing to behold. Dont be afraid to pause after shots to reallocate (assuming youre not on Legendary) to get the maximum dmg from your bessy / mortar spread.

Gunnery wights are OP get them the reload/extra ammo skills for the arty asap. 2 gunnery weights you can also kill off a major settlement with a few artys due to how much ammo these guys provide.

Open field battles vs the lizard are a pain, so try to do as much dmg before the damn beefy saurus (really high leadership too) boys hit your lines.

Forget which lords get the establish pirate cove but they only get 1! Recruit 1, sail it off for the cove then as soon as its done disband and recruit another so you can use the cove skill again with a new Lord.

Summons magic is also your friend, summon crabs or zombies behind the front line rushers/on top so they will turn around and your gun lines will get to shoot them in the back. Or way by their ranged so the AI starts to chase unimportant units and comes at your line in broken waves.

the early zombies are pretty ♥♥♥♥. syreens are strong tho as are mortars and cannons as well as their heroes which u can get with coves, promethean gunnery mobs show up at tier 4 and their tier 5 units are all good or great with necrofex beinfg best in most scenarios. with tech depth guard gets pretty strong as well

You defiantly need to have pirate coves in Lothern, that other elven capital in the west with the gold mine, altdorf, marienburg and naggaroth. That's a must. Even with just aranessas or noctulis capital + coves in these settlements, you should be able to sustain like 4 or 5 armies easy.

Game needs unit caps for all factions even going as so far as locking out advanced buildings chains for certain factions, its going to be this games biggest let down once its complete.
