So... it has retained its price because it's an active project, and people want it. People are buying it at this price at a rate that is acceptable to CA's sales department to justify leaving it where it is.
Anyway, that's my objective as possible take. I'm not really interested in sticking around for the flame war I expect to follow.
You wouldn’t believe how expensive house remodeling is. Like using “Brazilian Rosewood” add-on, for cabinetry. 1 square-foot by 1 inch thick, of uncut, in the rough was ~$15 a piece, ca. 1975. Of course you can’t buy Brazilian Rosewood anymore, but there are near equivalents that are just as much (in adjusted dollars these days).
Game development doesn’t look simple, at all. The game has bugs, but it also has great potential. It’s better than buying drugs that might kill you.
It's probably worth 3 bitcoin....
There is no point in complaining about it here, even if it is partially true.
Most people here bought the game even though they knew they were being ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and they are grateful.
But I guess everyone wastes their money as they wish.
