Hopefully it gets resolved soon.
They should just allow guns to shoot over units too
Good call about the arc of fire. I hadn't thought of that. It also explains why the empire handgunners dont have the same problem. Not so sure about the idea of changing their fire arc though, but it might be the only viable solution. Ignoring terrain certainly wouldnt work.
Damn those short legs!
Organ guns have less issues... and organ guns are pretty good now. All dwarvern stuff has issues tbh. Fire drakes and such only work if you tie units up with lords because the friendly fire screws your own men.
So many cool units not working properly reminds me why i hate dwarves.
Ironbreakers fire and forget are the best unit. Their bombs alone wipe out most unit.
If the elevation is high enough they'll take the shot otherwise they will just wait there
You need to use them like the warpfire throwers, engage in melee and shoot their flanks while they're fighting
Or you can use them while the enemy is approaching you to severely weaken their front line before your infantry make contact
Are you really that insecure?
It's necessary; if you don't say you play on Legendary, dozens of "pro gamer xx" types will jump in and flame you for not being "gud".

It seems if they can see some of the enemy troops in a unit (but not enough of them) they'll hold fire.
The old "checkerboard" deployment seems a lot less effective as a result.
I doubt this is a bug so much as an intentional balancing/design change to prevent absurd amounts of friendly fire.
He doesnt understand... hes just salty because hes bad at the game i mean why does he even post here? why does he care if i play legendary or not? I dont care what he plays. He just derails coz hes jealous for some reason? :\
