Pro and Cons of Bretonnia Lords?
Wanted to start a Vh/h Bretonnia ME campaign, tho I'm undecided about which Lord to chose.

I know that, given turns, I'll get them all in a big ass empire, but the first turns are kinda important on vh :[

Go with The Fay Enchantress (Carcasonne). This Way, you wont struggle with Replenishment Rate throughout the campaign and you can just farm Rebellions for the first couple of turns. Pretty breezy start, just get those peasent bowmen lol.

Best start is indeed Fey, those 10% is a huge advandtage, and if you are fast you get all LL before Ai is destroying them with stupid skill choice.

Repanse. Just Repanse. With a life mage she and her paladin can solo entire TK garrisons.

I personally prefer Louen due to how durable he can become as he levels up and is fairly close to a greenskin settlement. The only problem is that Wulfrik is not far away.

I like Louen as well he is incredible in combat. I like to just defend Courone from Norsca until it's T5, get hippogryph knights, win.

To start ,Louy gets most eventful start (First turn allows you to take a major city ,and leads you to norsca for a holy crusade)

Sea man gets to fight red duke at start ,also more trade income

Fey gives bonus replenish And grail guardians if I recall

Repanse is tied with louey ,you get to fight undead awhile, grimgor and so on

Otherwise Louy gets all his vows by default

I'm gonna say Alberic de Bordeleaux actually. One less turn for raising knight units factionwide is pretty massive. Since that's pretty much all your units. :lunar2019piginablanket:

Alberic will make you a eco powerhouse , and those -1 turn recruit is HUGE.

Go Alberic (Me).
Insane Extra trade helps with funding lots of armies early game and allows for rapid construction.
Also your one REAL enemy before you start confederating would be Moussilon. Once you beat them it's insane level of sandbox.
Also you get extra chevrons and less build time for your knights. Mid game you will be spawning stacks of OP knights and late game it gets even better.

The other lords have better lord abilities (though none kill large as well as Uncle Albert), but for faction abilities, best location, best economy, and best sandbox experience... Alberic de Bordeleaux easily.

Every single bretonnian lord is easy mode since you can confederate the entirety of bretonnia by turn 50 or so. Very strong faction. I prefer fay for +10% casualty replenishment rate.

Just use respec mod to respec lords and agents you confederate and problem solved. (This should really be in base game)
