How do you find Skaven under-cities below cities of other factions?
I'm playing as Clan Angrund and had Clan Mors in the ropes. Defeating them is a long victory requirement. However, they keep bouncing back because I don't know where they have their cities. They have 5 settlements, no armies (because the bar is fully yellow).

I had only recently arrived at Karak Eight Peaks. There are no ruins in the vicinity, so it must be under-cities. Karak could be one, but that means the other 4 are in Orc territory.

I'm really starting to not like Skaven, with every new play-through. It's not that they're OP, far from (though they can pack a punch), it's just always a total pain to have to deal with them.

Being able to find them would help make the game less of a grind. Any suggestions?

There are certain heroes that have "Discover Undercity" abilitty. It's a passive ability, so you only need to put that hero in the region. I am not sure which hero it is or if the dwarfs have one. However, Undercities don't count towards the settlement count. There must be some ruins somewhere. You don't have to destroy Undercities in order to destroy the faction.
Mors does start with an undercity in Karak Eight Peaks but they cannot field armies from it. Well they can but not without revealing the city by building towards a Vermintide.

Look to the south and east, there will be ruins somewhere. And Rats.

@Fafan: I didn't know that, thanks!

@Khan: All the ruins that were further away were Riktus and Eshin

Look for Karag Orrud down south its clan mors's capital after all.

Undercities do not count as settlements and get destroyed when the faction loses its last army and has no full settlement left.

All heroes have undercity detection, period. I'm not sure if all are equally good or it some are better at it, that would be a question for the stat wizards.

You are, right. Wasn't aware of that.

I was getting rather annoyed about this in my current Krok-gar campaign. Have clan Mors left any undercities about, or are those ones from Clan Eshin....? A full policy of extermination was needed.... and I think the remaining undercites then folded.

Yeah, that's the thing that bugs me the most with Skaven. They force you in too much of a grind.

Look for green corruption on your map where you have not been.

I tried that but it was all blue, too early in the game maybe (around turn 30)?

Looking for under-cities is pointless, because realistically, they could establish an undercity on the other side of the world, and not need any settlements near it. All they do is provide some gold and food for them each turn.

You need to find their actual settlements to wipe them out.

Yup, and better sooner rather than later, if Skaven are annoying at first, they can be really tough late game.
