No way to swap other than:
A - returning it and redrawing it
B - losing it to an enemy and then retaking it from the enemy
If you don't see it there, then you have a problem, I can't help you with further. I never got as far as possessing the sword of Khaine. So, I only assume what I told you is the correct thing to do.
Putting it back would be an option, I could discard both Alarielle and Anar, spawn them both at the building (assuming that's where the arthur putting back excalibur in the stone type event is supposed to happen) swap the weapons, then discard them again to redeploy to the front. That's only 10 turns to swap the sword, which is an acceptable cost at this point.
Ok so if i keep it order will go down, but will it be more powerful? The events says it will, and the name changes from thirsting to thriving. Is that its max level or will it keep on growing?
If it keeps on growing, i am more curious to see what it does, so i won't return it.
The above method works in older MC game I've been running,it's in that state of having the placeholders for VC but not full functionality of the DLC.
Like I see the positive intentions and that you just wanted to do sth good, but if you know that you don't know anything about that certain topic, you actually do more harm then good.
As others stated, no way to remove/swap SoK except of returning it on the "Sword grows in Power" events or when the swordholder gets killed/wounded in battle.
