you can't build them currently......they better not be released as a paid dlc

Only with the legendary building at Talabecland.

It is endlessly amusing how people who want to take shots at the game almost never have any idea what they are talking about

Don't listen to the first, listen to the second quote.

Yes you can.

I must admit it'd be nice if they also made a legendary building in Magritta that also allowed recruitment of them.

It'd be nice if having the building in Talabecland let you make them anywhere you had a menagerie or something tbh. The knights aren't so good that they need to be restricted to a single province, but are just useful enough in niche situations to make you want more of them. As is they barely even exist.

That is part of thier lore I think. I'm no lore expert though.

Since you are better off with Demigryph Knights (and even better with spearmen spam autoresolve), it is no big deal that Blazing Sun Knights are exclusive to one province.

Besides, one can always recruit globally.

They are part of the Grim&Grave DLC and can normally only be recruited after building a high-tier temple in talabheim.

However there's a mod which enables recruiting them in the tier 3 stable-building, which IMHO helps to actually use them, as normally when you have a high-tier talabheim you probably use demigryphs at that point anyway.

According to the lore (or to my memory of it anyway), the KotBS are actually pretty common throughout the old world because they aren’t as exclusive as other orders.

They formed during the Crusades to kick the Araby invaders out of Estalia and Tilea. A Group of knights and warriors from various kingdoms were about to get defeated while defending a temple of Myrmidia. They prayed from deliverance and the front of the building collapsed on the invaders, which allowed the knights a chance to counter charge and rout their foes. After that the order established itself with Myrmidia as their patron goddess.

They’re very forward thinking (for WH) and collect texts to help them learn various ways of combating evil. They’ll use magic, black powder, and newer weapons. They also study engineering, agriculture, history and so on to help them aid the weak.

They also allow members from any class or nation, although lower class people still need sponsors from within the order. Higher-ups also tend to be from the noble ranks as well but they’ve had access to combat training and libraries a lot longer.

They should have smaller chapter houses in at least Altdorf and Marienburg (although that one may have been shut down, I don’t remember). They aren’t as region specific as the White Wolfs or The Panthers.
