Is there any websites that explains the lore of Warhammer?
So i saw Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2 today and i thought wow, how did that happen? Or am i wrong is Total War: Warhammer not part of that? I would like to know a website that explains the lore of the Warhammer universe. Never played any other Warhammer and am kind of interested.

Easiest mixup in gaming lore.

Its because there is Warhammer. Fantasy setting (this game)

And there is also Warhammer 40k. Future Sci-fi setting. (Battlefleet)

Different universe. I enjoy both though.

Battlefleet Gothic Armada plays in Warhammer 40k while Total War Warhammer 1&2 play in Warhammer fantasy. And though they share quiet a few things the two aren't connected storywise anymore. Previously there were some hints about a conection but those have long since been either written out of existance or explained in another way.

is a good place to start fo rhte fantasy stuff for warhammer 40k I suggest the lexicanum

Yeah, I never played much of 40K and I was extremely interested with Luetin09 videos so much that I ended up watching quite a few completely.

(They have been so much MORE interesting and better told than the..cough cough..recent Star Wars movies which aren't so great in story telling)

Luetin09's recent primer video for 40K is also a good intro

I feel like 1d4chan does a good job of humorously summarizing both the lore and mechanics of most popular games.

https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Warhammer_Fantasy_Battle

But apparently valve hates them for some reason o.o

Oh i didn't expect Warhammer and Warhammer 40k to be different lores. I saw some videos of Battlefleet and thought The Empire was the same in both universe.

Oh, good point. I wasn't thinking about the fact that the link I posted has that as part of it, sad that 1d4 chan gets blocked because it contains a blocked term.

Search PDF repositories for the pure original background. You'll find lots of fanmade stuff but also the old Warhammer Fantasy "Army Books", 4th - 8th Ed. Still the best places for pure unaltered background.

4th Ed Dwarfs for example - https://pdfslide.net/documents/warhammer-4th-edition-dwarfs.html
Dogs of War - https://www.scribd.com/document/385880650/Dogs-of-War-6th-edition

Fantasy is the Granddaddy.... 40k, Age of Sigmar, Battlefleet Gothic.. More like naughty stepchildren.

Glad we got that straight.

Unreal amount of Fantasy Source material if you can hunt some of this down.
