Are Orcs Good?
I'd wanna play orcs, but their technology screen is so small that I wonder if it's intended for them to be able to win.

What's the world conquering strat for orcs?
Is savages dancer leader good or is his gimmick kinda trash after everyone has T4 and T5 units?
I love his spells, but his passives seem like they might end up being poop, even if savages get +45% phys resist.

You can win a game with them but they're kind of in a weak place atm. They're due for a rework that should be coming soon.

In order to expand with them you need to be super aggressive in order to maintain the waaagh stacks which are basically just free armies. Wurrzags spells remain great even long after you stop using Savage orcs.

Wurzzag is a great dude, good bonuses, too. But the general current tactic with GS is:

Kill Dwarfs instantly or have a giant hurricane of beards and bolts flying at you and spam Black Orcs, Arachnaroks and maybe 1-2 artillery pieces.

Yes, they are... That fun and versatile.

Savage Orcs are beast.

They are playable now....Most players are just pretty bad, I mean look at all the thread titles. Seriously they dont know how to play the game or how the units work or what the Race spells do.

I've read so many garbage threads about Britania being bad, but the players need to git gud....

Orcs are going to be hard for players to use since most of the new influx of players seem to think that Turtle is a viable strategy to use at all in Warhammer, which it is not.

Forget orcs. Play skarsnik and go full gobbo.

Is Empire fun?
Seems very plain.
But I do like Dwarves, but they have basically artillery + infantry and that's it.
No big mechs or monsters or golems.

Empire got everything but giant (flying) monsters. They are one of the most versatile races. Dwarfs tend to be very defensive but can have offensive builds, too.

When I first played this I thought empire would be my least favorite. But ive gone on to play more empire campaigns then anything else. That being said greenskins are my favorite.

Chef, do you like empire due to versatility and being able to use various tactics?

I feel dwarf's very simple but alright. So it's pretty fun. And dwarf friendship can get you like: "Sure, you can take over my 5 towns since we're friends. I'll join you."

How about vampires?
No artillery or ranged combat. But vanguard deployment + go rush in and murder while casting spells.

The empire are surprisingly very versatile given they're meant to be the vanilla boring faction. Good infantry, very good ranged, wide variety of cavalry, and even a few monstrous units.

Yes empire is great for versatility. VC are very unique so that makes them fun too. But greenskins should be getting a massive update soon too.

I hope Greenskins get a good buff and more technology.

Wurzzag is fun to play especially if you stay true to the savage orcs which will make you a better player overall. Crooked moon however is one of my favorite campaigns, a bit hard at the start to mid game but it gets better.

Wurzhag also gives replenishment to savage orcs, and you don't really have a great cav unit without the 25 charge on savage big un riders. He's way better than grimgor, and 45% physical resist on units with 80+ melee attack and 50 charge infantry is good enough to make his army work fine.

Also wurzhag waaghs are actually decent. They're actually useful if they dont autoresolve.

If you don't play wurzhag, some problems are kind of unfixable. You can't get replenishment, and grimgor/azhag don't give great doomstack bonuses. It kind of feels like black orcs are your only unit. Well you can use others (like rock lobbers for some reason get actually good tech bonus), but most of them aren't really core units. Like maybe going for a huge hit from goblin fanatics, but you can't make an army out of them cause they're too cheap to work when supply lines is a thing.

So at least for me personally, its wurzhag or bust. Unless you wanna play a lot of goblins in which case skarsnik is ok, but he feels like a different experience than Greenskins.
