Gaining blood kisses through assassinations only work on legendary lords or does it work on heroes too?

If the only way to get blood kisses is by owning LLs, vassalizing, and assassinating LLs, it's not going to be very easy. It doesn't really specify who needs to be assassinated though so does it means any model that appears on the world map counts? LLs, normal lords, and heroes?

Also how do you vassalize? Beat someone to a pulp until they accept? I've only managed to have it happen once with Manny when I beat him to a pulp.

You do gain kisses for killing any faction leader, so even minor faction leaders count, as well as killing/ wounding whatever agent with your own agents. And that is hard, because bansheed are lvl4.

By killing i mean in battle, even auto-resolve counts and you gain kisses each time you defeat them, so if you defeat Franz multiple times, you do gain kisses for each, but he must not retreat, you must wipe him out. And tbh it is pretty easy now with empire, because they ressurect turn after you kill them :D

I've barely played the VC, that's kind of why I'm asking.
Idk what you mean by except Eshin but it says you can get blood kisses via assassination and banshees/captain of the Empire, those kinds of units have an assassination ability. I just want to know if assassination means all lords/heroes or just LLs. I appreciate the answer.

You get bloodkisses by defeating legendary lords and by assasinating/wounding heroes. You cant assasinate legendary lords unless you are Clan Eshin.

Playing Von Carsteins at the moment. My vampires have been out wounding and occasionally killing heroes all over the map; good xp and a blood kiss with each success.

That's on VH, I'd be surprised if it changed on Legendary

Mechanics are the same on all difficulties.

i dare to say it is bugged these times however. i played them mutipletimes already and a thing, where you must completely wipe out stack they lead wasn't a thing before.

WTW1 you could assassinate the lords. It was extremely annoying late game when the AI would spam you with hero.

But it was never in WTW2 so the OP needed to learn basic mechanics.

I believe it works for any Faction Leader, not necessarily LL.
