the competition was also timed, so whoever can do the campaign in smaller amount of turns wins, there was a guy who won it at turn 1, but still quite a unbeatable campaign....
'' there was a guy who won it at turn 1''...
you don't see any issue with that statement?
Used an army mostly compossed of Swordmasters and Handmaiden archers.
The third key terrotory was way off in Lustria, and when I realized I would never get there I triggered Grom's invasion.
I had all of Athel Tamara upgraded, it gets easier when you finally get a Hero to lvl 15 and pronounce him a mistwalker.
During the final battle I kept 6 Sword Masters and 4 Handmaiden Archers inside the plaza with Eltharion. I had a Fire Mage on a Dragon roaming just outside the walls, mostly using The Burning Head and Piercing Bolts. The remaining 8 units were hybrid mistwalker infantry, whose job was to hold the walls.
It wasn't easy, but we won.
Just abandon the walls cuz they come at you in waves...
When I did it Grom started moving into the city AFTER the army loss penalty was inflicted so all I needed to do was send a couple of units his way and he shattered.
I dont have an hour and a half right now, but can anyone explain what he did? I won that last battle by a shred, would be interested in knowing what delicious cheese I'm missing.
