Half circle unit formation?
I saw a beginner video at some point, thought it was from Zertovich or Party Elite, but can't find it now. They put individual units into a half-circle or just curved them a bit, thus making a half-circular formation as a trap on the battle field. I don't think they were using any mods, since they were "how to" videos. Anyone know how to do that, or maybe it was a mod?

if they used multiple squads then idk how exactly to explain it but i at least understand. i dont think theres a way to bend one squad though

holding down L-control while leftclickholding selected units moves those selected units AND keeps the formation they were in while selected.

doing the same while rightclickholding selected units rotates all selected units AND keeps their formation.

the whole formation was a half circle, not the individual units

1. You make a unit form up in a relative column shape. (That is few models facing forward with more behind)
2. You then give them a move order that is curved so you hold down the shift key I think it is and move the mouse in a U shape or whatever you want and make the end stop where appropriate.
So if your column of troops is long enough you wouldplausably be able to make a U shape or at least take a bent shape.

Not really sure why your wanna do it, but its possible. Noticed it when giving an attack order to a unit of Slayers myself. Must have missed the connection with my target.. So there they where standing in a more or less curved column.
