doing the same while rightclickholding selected units rotates all selected units AND keeps their formation.
2. You then give them a move order that is curved so you hold down the shift key I think it is and move the mouse in a U shape or whatever you want and make the end stop where appropriate.
So if your column of troops is long enough you wouldplausably be able to make a U shape or at least take a bent shape.
Not really sure why your wanna do it, but its possible. Noticed it when giving an attack order to a unit of Slayers myself. Must have missed the connection with my target.. So there they where standing in a more or less curved column.
