Vampire Counts mid / lategame army Varghulf vs Vargheist

Hoi, I'm struggling with my army compostion with the vampire counts.
is it wort it to switch from Vargheists to Varghulfs?
I don't see the benefits?!
The stats are pretty similar, but the Vargheits have more models and they can fly.

Why would I use Varghulfs instead of Vargheists? Could anyone explain to me?

jeah, true, but ... I'm a Vampire, so noboy is going to siege me because I suck theire nuts before they have the chance to do that ♥♥♥♥.
But still, against a full t3 / t4 (longbearts, canons, ironbreaker and qualer / ranger) on open field : both seem pretty underwelhming,
The t2 unit with a sword and shield is performing the best right now, while my Vargheists / Varhulfs are losing to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quarellers

Its all about flanking, use your Dire Wolves and bats to shut down their ranged units first then hit them with your other units.

Well, vargheists fly which can be an advantage but it also makes them easy targets. Varghulfs are a bit tougher and have regeneration so they can stick around in a regular battle for a while. You shouldn't be using one or the other, you should use both. They both have advantages and disadvantages. And don't forget about using your normal cavalry to shut down ranged units.

Mhm I don't know, if I use all of them, I'll loose ;D
I'm not good enough to manage them all.
I have all the vampires and my Lord Vlad and a necromancer and those cool shrines and stuff, so the more mycro I need, the more It's going to suck.
Ah what ever, I just lost both of my armies to a 40 stack of hammerers/ cannons / Quareler / iron drakes, so I just build up from sratch ;D

Both oth them suck dealing with Irondrakes.
Do I have a unoit that can deal with irondrakes?

I use both, varghulf can kill anything if it is supported. They can kill lords if multiple of them gank at once. They can knockdown lords non stop.

Vargheist is good but they cant win against elite unit but as a flyer they are one of the best that VC have. Terrorgheist is too expensive.

why not have both, having two vargheists and one varghulf its how i roll.

Or in isabellas case, tons of vampires, varghulfs, vargheists and terrorgheists

Use Vampire armies as doomstacks, and skellie armies as normal armies. Rest of the units you dont need at all.. Maybe except Mortis Engine in skelly armies..
Edit: Ohh forgot you need 3x Varheists untill you done Vlads item quest
