Scrap upgrade for Goblin rock thrower/doom diver
+20% range (+80) or 25 % reload reduction ? Never played extensively with artirelly before. So opinions/advice welcomed :)

Personally I go with range. You can't really go wrong with that. Especially for the rock lobber who doesn't have as much range as similar artillery of other factions I believe.

Both have its uses.
Imo range if you nees something dead before it can fight back, else reload. You get a tech for more ammo (doom divers, not lobbers) so you likely will have too much anyway.

imo range is only good if you know you'll be facing something that can potentially outrange you, like dwarfs, TK or empire. even then i'd take it only for doom diver since rock thrower accuracy is so abysmal - you won't hit anything at max range any way and extending that range is just a waste of ammo.
in all other situaltions i'd take reload. with proper skills and tech upgrades both doom divers and rock lobbers get a lot of ammo and reload skill will help you realise that damage potential (tho even with it you'll still have some spare ammo left at the end of the battle probably). in most cases range is irrelevant as long as it's more than 200 (to outrange enemy archers).

Rock lobbers have good damage but ♥♥♥♥ range. Upgrade it with it's speciality in mind; short range, high damage. So get the reload speed.

reload speed is always the bestest choice everythere you have it. Doom divers were amazing artillery before the patch, now they are even better.

oh, and arrer boyz and spider archers says hello loosy coneheads, who's the bestest and the fastest sniper now, eh???

Personally I go reload.

Range will give you what? One extra shot? Two if you're lucky? Id rather have them sending more shots over the course of the battle.
