In an unsorted list:
Kholek Suneater
Kroq Gar
Grimgor
Ikit Claw
Mannfred
They're all strong but Kholek has always been a favorite of mine even though I'm not a huge fan of the chaos faction. He's capable of clearing units like there's no tomorrow and with the right items he's nigh unstoppable. Give him a few dragon units and you can clear armies with just a few units.
Kroq Gar is strong as a large infantry unit but a beast when he mounts his... beast...
Grimgor has, for a long time, been one of the strongest LL in my opinion. He hits like a truck and with the new skills he's even stronger. Getting unstoppable and all kinds of stuff he's a force to fear.
Ikit Claw is quite strong as base and after a few upgrades in the workshop and doomwheel mount, he's a beast on wheels.
Mannfred is possibly the most versatile LL with a plethora of spells and more than capable of handling himself in the heat of battle.
Remember that with the current bugged damage modifier most LL aren't as strong as they should be, if I've understood the bug correctly.
Durthu
Malekith
Imrik
Hellebron
He's strong campaign-wise but as the question was more about their battle-performance, he falls short by quite a lot ^^
It's not that he's weak in battle but he falls short compared to the stronger ones.
He definitely is.
I'm just not sure how great he is at taking on half an army to himself. No perfect vigor and fairly low melee defense. Good splash attack animations and regeneration, though, so maybe he's better at it than I remember. Been a while since I played him.
The question was battle power. If we were talking army buffs, I would put Grom over Grimgor for sure.
THIS ACTION DOES NOT HAVE MY CONSENT!
gobbos with more armor doesn't make the lord better.
it's quite obvious actually that grimgor is way better.
best lord in the game is either malus, or tyrion. no doubt. no debate.
