Greenskin tech tree
You know I like most of the new greenskin update but the tech tree just...bothers me. It basically focuses on goblins to a really wierd degree. Grimgore in lore doesnt keep goblins around because they are cowards. Why would he research ways to make them better? he eats them. The tree should be abit more varied in boosts to orks, trolls, goblins, and spiders instead of the entire center of the tree being almost completely dominated by goblins and the rest of the tree being focused towards scrap upgrades and some general faction bonuses. It works fine for Grom and Skarsnik but for Azag or Grimgore it feels...odd.

Yeah the tree is so good it makes Goblins pretty damn good by the end of it. In some cases Goblins are just flat better then Orcs. It felt wrong in so many levels.

Yeah. I understand why they focus to a large degree on goblins. They still want to make them viable in the late game. But orcs seem to get very little. I seem to remember for specifically orcs it's +3 melee attack and +3 leadership. Sure some more small buffs to boar riders, savage orcs and black orcs are there but a little more love for orcs would be nice.

Top is missile, wolf and spider It happens to be goblins riding them.
Middle is goblin melee
Bottom is orks.

It's just 2 orks dlc only add goblins and monsters.

Yes but the ork bonuses are very small and dont effect gameplay much. The scrap system seem also heavily built around Grom which is understandable with his release but it still makes Grimgore underpowered as a general.
Only regular Orc boys get outshown by Goblins, Biguns, savage orcs,boars, and black orcs all fulfill roles that Goblins Orc units require much less investment to be good and their tech line gives you the important early game growth bonuses and discounts. I would like for there to be ab bit more love for the regular orc boys but remember that some of the goblin tech line provides bonuses to orcs too.

Sneaky Stabbers outshine all but black orks and even black orks cant beat them when fully buffed easily. They are so cost efficient its not worth using night goblins either.

I looked at it briefly on its own for Grimgor/Azhag its seems balanced, the only thing that I think CA missed was +1 rank to orc boyz in initial starting techs which bothers me. Need to look at it some more though..

Uhm... Grom is the only Greenskin lord that only gets generic scrap upgrades, every other lord has special upgrades only available to them.... So... How is it focused around Grom?

Healy Mushrooms should be 5%

On Second Thoughts:
Upkeep should be 10%(Goblins)
Ammunation 20%(Doomdiver)

Boar Ridin'
Rank +1 to Boar units(Removed from Wolf Breedin') could remove CB bonus.

Spider Worship'
Rank +1 to spider units(Removed from Wolf Breedin')

The initial center line techs is whats causing the skew to goblins, need some more Orc buffs in the line and there are currently two spaces or some could be changed slightly....

Also we need +1 rank to Orc Boyz,Arrow Boyz and Big'uns in the 2nd/3rd line somewhere...

I was finally able to do legit gobbo armies...but then, yes, it felt awkward. They do have some Orc stuff but it's almost like other unique units in the attention Orcs get.

It wouldn't feel weird if Orc leaders just revered those techs. So depending on leader those techs change.

You have agent,buildings and garrison and gold(merge and recruit) if you really need to counter replenish(that was the proper way to counter low replenish values previously since GS never had gold issues), the merging strategy is made better if ranks were more obtainable which actually CA has semi addressed.
