Black Orc Big Boss seems weak, he's barely on par with the regular Orc warboss stat wise, he seems like a watered down version of Orc warboss.

They're the hero unit. Think of it like a comparison between a goblin big boss and a night goblin lord. The night goblin is better because its a lord.

You've basically got an orc leader vs a black orc second in command. Even if he's a black orc, he's not the best of the best out of black orcs. Whereas the orc warboss is the best of the best of orcs.

There's no in game black orc equivalent of an orc warboss (except grimgor but he's a LL and LL are always supposed to be stronger).

Honestly these guys are super powerful. If you look at the stat line, you don't think hero. You think they're a lord.

Honestly not even sure if an orc warboss is stronger. The orc warboss would probably win the 1v1 (they're armor piercing and part of black orc warboss strength is ridiculously high armor). But the black orc is a lot harder to kill. and will demolish non armor piercing characters (whereas the orc warboss can just get his ass kicked by pretty much anything if he can't kill them fast). I think he's better against anything but heavy armor piercing high armored lords.
