Yeah agreed, I have never really noticed it before weirdly cause I normally play as VC rather then Von Carstein.
Which is strange since its not like its a big change :P All they have to do is give them something else. Heck I'd even take a reduction on spells or a random upkeep bonus. It feels kind of underwhelming getting a trait that cant be used at all.
I can only think of 1 other trait where I slapped my head when I got it and that was killing Louen as Dwarves.
Bretonnia for example get Traitor for killing Louen instead of Kingslayer. Or if Setra kills Surtha Ek he gets Surtha Wrecked. For example :P But to be fair there isnt many traits that are just flat useless for the entire faction this and the cavalry one for Dwarves are the only ones that come to mind. Most at least give some sort of bonus even if its not much in some cases.
